Pruning
Les Services d'Experts P.L. performed many corrective and preventive pruning jobs in the area over the last 14 years. While corrective pruning is essential to remove hazards and reduce risk, regular pruning is also very beneficial. Removal of of dead or diseased parts of a tree will make it stronger, more vigorous and better able to withstand damage from storms.

Stump Removal
Many customers need only to remove a tree to the ground level, but in other cases, the area may be in need of landscaping and the tree stump has to be removed.
Another consideration in tree stumps removal is to prevent suckering (new shoots that arise from the trunk and roots) and fungal root rots. Old tree stumps left in the ground can play host to root diseases and stump removal procedure is often used to ameliorate root disease problems.
Mechanical stump tree removal at Les Services d'Experts P.L. is done using stump grinding machines designed to grind the stump and the main root system to a depth of no less than 8 inches. These machines will mechanically grind out the main root plate, leaving fine sawdust which can be used as garden mulch, for backfilling or can be removed from the site.
Chipping
At your request we can use our wood chippers to shred wood, prune branches or brush into small pieces which can be used as mulch in the garden or for other puposes.
Les Services d'Experts P.L. uses high quality chipping machines and our chipper blades are always sharp. This can ensure high quality of wood chips. They are small and useful for mulch, landscaping bark, or as ground cover in muddy areas.
We can advise you what type of tree is good for garden-quality mulch. For example, cedar and pine make superior mulch for garden whereas wood chips made from willows and elms are not suitable for this purpose.
